Like most couples hoping to get married in 2020, Jay and Alice have had a bit of a year of it. The Albert Hall is an epic gig venue in the heart of Manchester and makes the perfect wedding venue for a biiiig party...Covid, however, had other ideas meaning a micro-wedding was the only option. After changing their plans countless times in the 6 months before, and then again the fortnight before, 2 days to go and Manchester got flung into tier 3 meaning plans had to change once again. Luckily, the 15 person limit doesn't include suppliers and wedding photographers, so I still got to be there for the day which was packed full of love and laughter, despite the slightly smaller than expected guestlist.
There are so many epic little spots at The Albert Hall to take wedding photos that it was hard to decide where to go for portraits, but I couldn't resist this little industrial staircase spot by a window and the stairs inside the main venue's balcony - and the good news is I'll be back here with Jay & Alice next year for part 2 to capture some others spots in this amazing venue.
